"A Safe Place To Lay"  will be the bridge from what was to what will forever be.  Providing transitional to permanent housing to our once exiled heroes.  Where the once quiet silence of despair is now joyous noise of fulfilment.  

A place to finally call home.

  The organization will provide case management services and  will ensure the veteran has all needed financial benefits for housing (room & board) but also money management (EBT, bank accts, etc.), & transportation if needed.

When you change your outside appearance it makes you feel good on the inside. Therefore we have barbers and hair stylists who have volunteered their time to give our vets back the  pride and self confidence they once had.

Transition includes all clothing items  needed including but not limited to shirts, pants, dresses, suits, shoes etc.   We will also provide the essential hygiene products, socks, deodorant, toothpaste, underwear(new) etc.   

Every person needs a purpose and every purpose has a goal, our goal is to give our vets just that. We have teamed up with a staffing agency to give our men and women the opportunity to regain their rightful place in society.

A good majority of homeless veterans are single; live in urban areas; and suffer from mental illness, alcohol and/or substance abuse, or co-occurring disorders. 

A Safe Place To Lay will assist with  the coordination of medical and counseling services for all veterans.
